Hurricane Maria
Project Author: Emily Dougherty-Samowitz
In this case study, students follow the work of Rafael Irizarry and collaborators, as they use tools covered in AP Stats (random sampling methods & inference) to correct the narrative on Hurricane Maria’s death toll in Puerto Rico. This flexible project can be used during the school year or after the AP Exam.
